On 27 April 2026, President Prabowo carried out his fifth cabinet reshuffle. Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat, head of the KSPSI trade union confederation, was sworn in as Minister of Environment and Head of the Environmental Control Agency (KLH/BPLH). His predecessor Hanif Faisol Nurofiq was moved to the post of Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs.
Jumhur is known as a prominent labor figure and activist. He previously served as Head of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers (BNP2TKI) from 2007 to 2014, and has also held the position of Chairman of the Confederation of All Indonesian Workers’ Unions (KSPSI).
At the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday, April 27, 2026, the swearing-in unfolded with a measured formality, as the President himself presided over the ceremony and administered the oath of office. “That I, in carrying out my duties, will uphold the ethical standards of the office and work to the best of my ability with full responsibility,” Prabowo declared, his words echoed in unison by the newly appointed officials.
The same reshuffle brought in retired General Dudung Abdurachman as Chief of the Presidential Staff, Muhammad Qodari as Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom), Hasan Nasbi as Special Presidential Advisor for Communications, and Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the Quarantine Agency.
Six new officials were sworn in as part of the appointment:

- Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the National Quarantine Agency.
