The Central Sulawesi Provincial Government, through the SOLUSI Working Group (Pokja SOLUSI) and CIFOR–ICRAF Indonesia, held a Public Consultation on the Integrated Land and Seascape Management Master Plan on Thursday (18/12) at the Polibo Hall, Office of the Governor of Central Sulawesi.

This activity is part of the process of developing the Integrated Land and Seascape Management Master Plan for the PADAGIMO Region, which covers Palu City, Donggala Regency, Sigi Regency, and Parigi Moutong Regency, facilitated by the project “Solutions for Integrated Land and Seascape Management in Indonesia (SOLUSI).”

Dra. Novalina, MM, Secretary of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government, stated that “this public consultation is a mechanism to ensure that the master plan document we are preparing is inclusive, data-driven, and integrative, in line with the planning context of Central Sulawesi.”

She further emphasized the strong commitment of the Province of Central Sulawesi to using the master plan as an official reference for the formulation of regional policies. This includes its integration into the upcoming Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD), the integrated Provincial Spatial Plan (RTRW), and the development of sectoral plans across forestry, agriculture, fisheries, environmental management, and other related sectors.

Through this public consultation, the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government provides a platform for government agencies, academics, civil society, and local stakeholders to offer input, feedback, and recommendations on the draft master plan.
