To accelerate the industrial energy transition, the SETI Industrial Energy Lab delivered a focused series of capacity-building programs to strengthen industry readiness for decarbonization. The initiative equipped internal company pipelines and industrial players with critical capabilities, from transition strategy development and clean technology exploration to sustainable financing and performance monitoring. Implemented through three targeted batches-Energy Transition Strategy, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technology, and Sustainable Energy Finance.

The program engaged more than 180 participants, with over eighty percent rating the training eight or higher out of ten for relevance, delivery quality, facilitation, and practical applicability. Participants from industry repeatedly pointed to the program’s tangible impact on their day-to-day work, particularly in strengthening practical understanding of energy management and efficiency.

Fanny Asrini of PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Perawang Mill noted that the training was comprehensive and provided deeper knowledge, especially on legal aspects and energy efficiency calculation, adding that the SETI programme supports more effective energy efficiency management. Muhammad Faris Naufal from Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food shared that the sessions offered insights directly relevant to his work, helping him better understand how to set targets, define baselines, and navigate related regulations and standards. From the manufacturing sector, Budi Ismail of PT Glostar Indonesia 2 reflected that as a shoe company, the training has made production planning more mindful in terms of energy efficiency, while Junaidi Pandiangan of PT Pratama Abadi Industri Serpong highlighted a clearer understanding of technologies applicable to the company’s energy transition process.

With 80% high relevance ratings, SETI builds practical industry capability to implement energy transition and decarbonization.
