By taking the Paris Agreement implementation through COP30 into account, the national dialogue invited stakeholders from ministries, climate-related institutions, the public audience, and the media, and sharpened the objectives of Paris Agreement implementation in Indonesia prior to COP30.
Presenters and speakers challenged the audience to engage with issues ranging from a just transition in the energy sector and carbon pricing and market mechanisms, to the development of a sectoral road map for net zero emissions and the broader shift of the development agenda toward a green transition.
During the event, WRI also highlighted ongoing research partnerships and collaborations supporting Indonesia’s economic transition toward net zero emissions, including work with the Ministry of Agriculture and other civil society organizations to advance the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
