On June 17, 2025, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas asked the Clean, Affordable, and Secure Energy (CASE) project to contribute to a major educational event titled “Educating Youth for Family Life Preparation” organized by Seruni Kabinet Merah Putih in Sragen, Central Java. Seruni Kabinet Merah Putih is a women’s organization for the spouses of the vice president, ministers, and heads of government agencies within the Indonesian government, facilitating communication and coordination among its members to support the government’s programs and contribute to the well-being of the Indonesian public.  

As part of this broader initiative, the Bappenas and CASE teams delivered a session themed “Sustainable Water Use through Clean Energy.” Packaged under the “Teaching 4 Future” concept, this session served as an initiative to expand clean energy and sustainable development literacy among the youth. The session engaged around 150 participants, mostly members of the GenRe (Planning Generation) community in Central Java.  

The session began with the short film “CASE – Mimpi Kiara,” which creatively introduced the concept of clean energy and net-zero emissions. The CASE team then highlighted the connection between access to clean water, renewable energy, and national development goals. CASE used an interactive quiz to test comprehension, where participants actively demonstrated their understanding of maintaining water and energy resilience. 

This collaborative effort provided new insights through an important dialogue space, reinforcing the role of the younger generation in driving sustainable energy use and preserving water resources for the future. The event was attended by the spouse of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, adding significant national prominence to the youth engagement session.
